Our story begins in Italy, in the heart of Milan.
A story made up of great changes, big decisions, destiny, courage and a lot of love.
For many years we were a Manager and an Industrial Designer, with our secret passions, pastry and art, cooking and experimenting, gelato and cakes.
Daisy spent years studying in Italy and in England, at Squires Kitchen school, the art and the secrets of pastry and cake decoration. Giorgio on the other hand attended in Bologna, Italy, the Carpigiani Gelato University, finally discovering his love for artisanal gelato and for his effort and dedication won the award of ’SHERBETH TALENT SHOW (BEST NEW GELATO MASTER)' in 2012, during THE competition held in Cefalu', Sicily and had been in the Top 10 flavour of the SHERBETH FESTIVAL sixth edition.
From then onward our destiny was guided by an infinite number of events...
We lived in Chile for a couple of years and while there Giorgio had the amazing opportunity in 2014 to work in Bella Gelateria as the Gelato Master and Manager for the Coal Harbour location, Vancouver, in the most famous gelateria run by James Coleridge.
For a period Daisy also had the honour to be part of Bella Gelateria Yaletown location, as pastry chef and cake decorator.
At a certain point the big opportunity of our lives arrived and we suddenly found our dream coming true.
All is now materializing and we are, after a few months, about to open our own gelateria and Italian pastry shop in the Burnaby Heights, with a special section dedicated to custom decorated cakes and our very special gelato cakes.
