In March of 1972, ACME FIRE AND SAFETY CO. LTD.was formed between Lino Tonolli and Bruce Buckner, and was located across the street from where the Joyce Street Sky Train Station, Vancouver, B.C. was later built.
In 1974 ACME FIRE purchased and moved into a building at 3427 Kingsway, Vancouver, B.C. In 1996 a new associate, Michael Tonolli, was brought on board, and in 2002 Michael became the sole owner of ACME FIRE.
